Ficosa operates in India since 1998, through a Joint Venture with the TATA Group. The company has three Production Centres, two in Pune, Mumbai; the other in Pant Nagar, New Delhi. In addition, it has a R&D in Pune. From the first Pune plant, opened in 2002, and the Pant Nagar plant, created in 2007, the Group develops, produces and commercialises all its product port-folio for the Indian market. The second Pune Productive Plant, created in 2004, dedicates all its production to the exportation. TATA Ficosa has been chosen for the development, production and supplying of interior and exterior mirrors, as well as gear levers, windshield washing systems and tanks and reservoirs for the new TATA Nano.
