Sara is an Advanced Engineering Manager in the ADAS department, and her story is a fantastic example of how important professional development is at Ficosa.
Sara was struck by a camera project where the quality of the lens would be an important part of the final product. Without a second thought, she sent us her application and started as an Optical Engineer in the ADAS team, co-designing the lenses for each of the cameras, in addition to following up with purchases, projects and clients. Within a year, she was promoted to Engineering Supervisor and went on to manage the Image Engineering Department, which employed 12 Ficosians at that time. Today, she manages 22 colleagues and has created two new teams: Car Application and Image Quality Validation.
