Idneo consolidates its business model with turnover of €13.5 million in its engineering activity and an accumulated manufacturing business of €60 million

The company forms alliances with local partners and open offices to execute its implementation abroad

Viladecavalls (Barcelona), January 29th 2014.- Idneo, the company created by FICOSA in 2011, foresee to close the year 2013 with a turnover of €13.5 million and an accumulated business of induced manufacturing of €60 million in the plants of Viladecavalls (Barcelona) and Shanghai (China). These figures place the company as one of the pillars of the process of diversification created by the group after the purchasing of the facilities of Viladecavalls (Barcelona). Likewise, for the next 2014, the forecasts mention a growth of 15% up to €15.5 million.

At present, Idneo gives services to clients on a global scale and has been consolidated as reference engineering in such strategic sectors as medical devices, consumer electronics and automotive. In order to continue its politics of consolidation and growth, Idneo has accelerated its implantation on a global scale to cover the demands of some of its current clients, such Telefónica and HP (Spain), Properland (USA), Inergy and Thermofhiser (France), Bang and Olufsen (Denmark), Arcelik (Turkey), Sony (Japan) and Allion (Taiwan).

For this reason, Idneo controlled 100% by the FICOSA group, has decided to carry out a strong bet for the internationalization. Agreements have been reached with local companies in Germany, France and the United States and proper offices have been opened in California (USA), Russelsheim (Germany) and Bursa (Turkey).

The model of Idneo’s implantation in other countries will continue across local partners that provide their channel of the country and their know-how. Idneo will provide specialized technical personnel as it is growing in these countries. Nevertheless, the center of engineering of Viladecavalls (Barcelona) will keep on being the reference of the company, which at present employs more than 200 engineers, when in 2011 it was provided only with 135.
