TCU – TELEMATIC CONTROL UNIT

The TCU – Telematic Control Unit – platform comprises compact and cost effective solutions to enable security, safety and infotainment applications in the vehicle. Furthermore, the TCU product family is designed to minimise installation costs and maximise system robustness in the case of an accident or external manipulation. The TCU is a state-of-the-art OBU (onboard unit).

EMERGENCY CALL – ECALL
New regulations for emergency calls in Europe – eCall (Era Glonass in Russia)- require telematics units to be integrated into vehicles. For both systems Ficosa has ready-to-install solutions for car manufacturers which meet all the technical requirements required by the regulations.
